Why did you choose Cabrini? I am excited to work at Cabrini because I believe that bringing people of all backgrounds together creates a space in which we can all learn something new. Cabrini is a very unique environment where people from many different places are not only welcomed but celebrated. I am very much looking forward to growing in both faith and knowledge with the children and faculty!
How would you describe your teaching style and methods? While I am still growing as a new teacher, the methods I use are always child-centered and child-driven, and I encourage each child to learn at his or her own pace. I believe that my role as a teacher is to facilitate the child’s discovery of new information. My goal is to create a safe environment in which the children feel secure enough to take risks in learning and grow through their mistakes, working with one another to deepen their knowledge of the world around them.
